SKYLIGHT DOMES
Our domes are made from acrylic and polycarbonate panels 2-4
mm thick, bent into shape by
thermoforming. The individual layers are assembled into a compact whole. Each dome is fitted
with a seal which is in contact with the upstand. The dome is designed to allow water to drain
off it, and prevents water flowing into roof cladding and indoors. The main advantage of domed
windows is the high amount of light they let in; 92% for clear and 81% for opal
domes.
The domes ensure the ideal lighting for an interior space.
ACRYLIC DOMES
High light transmittance, clear or opal options available
Domes made from acrylic glass are UV stable with a long lifespan. PMMA is 25 times more durable than glass. As standard, the domes are available in clear or opal (milky) tint options. Custom color options are available upon request.

Mechanically resistant to hail and breakage
Domes made from polycarbonate have excellent mechanical durability, as polycarbonate is 300 times more durable than glass. As standard, the domes are available in clear or opal tint options.

Mechanically resistant and reflects solar radiation
These domes combine the benefits of polycarbonate and Heatstop. They are resistant to both breakage and up to 65% of solar radiation, preventing overheating under the skylight. The solar control dome is available in a smoky gray color.

Outstanding thermal insulation properties
The dome is combined with 25 mm thick chambered polycarbonate, which is UV stable. The glazing is available in either acrylic or polycarbonate These domes exhibit outstanding thermal insulation properties, while also being a reasonably priced option. Their light weight is yet another advantage.
